24 hours 2,500 psi
Seven days 4,500 psi
28 days 5,500 psi
Packaging: Hydraulic
Cement is available in 50lb pails.
Coverage: 1
lb. of Hydraulic Cement will fill a void approximately 2"x2"x4".
Working Time:
Working time is approximately 3-6 minutes with a hard set in 7-10
minutes. Times may vary due to weather conditions.
Preparation:
Enlarge all cracks to 3/4" or larger by cutting square or with
an undercut. Do not create a V shaped cut. If possible, relieve
excessive hydrostatic pressure by drilling a relief hole in the
crack at its lowest point. Clean surrounding areas and cavity. Dampen
surfaces slightly prior to application.
Mixing: Mix
with clean, potable water-4 parts Hydraulic Cement to one part water.
Mix only as much as can be used in three minutes. Do not over mix
or over water. DO NOT RE-TEMPER. In extremely warm weather, use
ice water to slow down the set. In cold weather, all surfaces, product
and water should be warmed to approximately 70 deg F.
Applications: Mold the putty like material with hands until it begins
to warm and force it into the void and hold in place until set.
The time required depends on hydrostatic pressure and temperature.
Begin filling holes or cracks from the top.
Limitations: Do
not apply when temperatures fall below 40 deg F. Do not use under
base plates or for structural grouting.
Warranty: The
technical information and usage statements are based on our best
knowledge. The contents of this specification sheet are presented
