Product Description: Hold Fast Anchoring Cement is a blended, non shrink gypsum cement, which expands as it sets, locking itself in place. It sets hard in 15-30 minutes and is stronger than concrete in 24 hours. The product may be used in a packed vertical application or poured. Also available in a non gypsum formula (NG) upon special order. Uses: Secure: Bolts – Rebar Handrails – Columns Fence Posts – Signs Pipes – Ornamental Iron

Based on one part water to 4.5 parts OBP Hold Fast Anchoring Cenent.

Packaging: OBP Hold Fast Anchoring Cement is available in 50lb. plastic pails.

Coverage: 1 lb. of OBP Hold Fast Anchor Cement will fill a void approximately 2”X4”.

Mixing: Add clean potable water to OBP Hold Fast Anchor Cement to obtain the desired consistency. For poured applications, add approximately one part water to 3.5 parts OBP Hold Fast Anchoring Cement, mix to a pancake batter consistency DO NOT Over water. For packed consistency, add one part water to 4.5 parts Hold Fast Anchoring Cement, mix only enough material as can be placed in 3/5 minutes. Do not use a high-speed drill to mix.

Placing: Drill holes 1 1-1/2” larger than the fixture to be Imbedded. Holes should be clean and damp. Place fixture and add Hold Fast Anchor Cement slightly above the surface. Hold in place until material hardens. For vertical applications, mix to putty consistency, fill the hole and drive the fixture into the hole.

Limitations:Do not apply when temperatures are below freezing. Cold weather will slow setting time. Do not use in applications exposed to excessive water. Do not use under the baseplate or for structural Imbedding.
