Product Description: Orco Blended Type S Lime is a hydrated, fine, white lime for the use in masonry, plaster and other building material applications. Uses: Orco Blended Type S Lime should be used wherever a quality masonry lime type mortar is required for the installation of concrete masonry block, clay brick, natural and artificial stone. OBP Type S Lime added to construction sand and Portland Cement, will achieve a higher bonding masonry mortar, meeting A.S.T.M. C-270 specifications.

Application: Orco Blended Type S Lime should be stored in a dry protected area preventing contamination of material. Proportion OBP Type S Lime using U.B.C. standards and A.S.T.M. specifications. Mixing should be done in a mechanical mixer adding 60% of liquid, all the fine aggregate, all the OBP Type S Lime, blend for one minute then add the Portland Cement and remaining liquid, mix for at least five minutes.

Limitations: Do not apply when temperatures fall below 40 degrees. Do not apply to frozen surface or where frost is prevalent. Good construction practice such as tenting and heating is strongly recommended during cold weather.

Technical Data: Orco Blended Type S Lime meets Physical properties of A.S.T.M. C-110, and A.S.T.M. C-1072 meeting the requirements of A.S.T.M. C-270.
