Product
Description: Orco Blended Products Latex Glue is a
premium mortar additive composed of styrene/butadiene latex
rubber and chemicals that produce a high strength, adhesive
mortar. It is designed to be added to OBP Thin Brick Mortar.
The addition of Latex Glue greatly improves the bond strength,
flexural strength, impact resistance, water resistance and
freeze thaw stability of the bonding mortar. It may be used
for interior or exterior applications over concrete, masonry,
cement, plaster, and backer board. Latex Glue and Thin Brick
Mortar produce a premium bonding system designed to withstand
the extreme conditions exterior veneers are exposed to.

Application: For
detailed application instructions refer to the appropriate ANSI
specifications or OBP literature. Add the dry powder to the mixing
liquid and mix with a low RPM mixer to avoid air entrapment. All
surfaces must be clean, sound and free from any bond inhibitors.
For best results, walls should be parged and veneer back buttered.
Veneer must receive full coverage for proper bonding.
Clean Up:
Clean tools and spills with water immediately after use.
Do not allow material to dry prior to cleaning.
Limitations:
Do not apply to frozen or unsound substrates. Do not apply when
temperatures are below or expected to fall below 40 degrees F. Latex
Glue should not be applied to wood, asphalt sheeting, resilient
flooring, particle board, metal, glass, gypsum mortar beds or decorative
laminates.
